Wave Ed & Clarkeprint Bookmark Competition

Welcome to the Wave Ed & Clarkeprint Bespoke Exercise Book bookmark competition! Enter as a class or a whole school to win reading related prizes for your school or academy.

How it Works

  1. Download the artwork template by clicking here (PDF) and print them on to white A4 copier paper

  2. Let the children (and staff) run wild with their ideas to create fun, bright and engaging designs. Keep checking back for for the lesson plan, which is coming very soon!

  3. Download, print and complete the entry form by clicking here (PDF)

  4. Put the designs for each class in a C4 envelope (don’t fold them!) and include one entry form per envelope

  5. Send the designs to: Bookmark Competition, Wave Ed, 45-47 Stour Street, Birmingham, B18 7AJ

  6. We will drop you an email to let you know that the designs have arrived safely

  7. We will collate the designs together and will hold a judging day at the start of each new term (Autumn, Spring and Summer - 3 per year), for all of the designs received during the previous term

  8. We will select a winner from each school that enters, and an overall termly winner (see below for prizes)

  9. We will be in touch with the luck winner at the start of term to arrange delivery of the prizes

The Prizes

We will select one winning entry for each school that participates and one overall termly winner.

  • The School Prize: We will print the winning design onto a set of 50 bookmarks, printed in vibrant colour onto a waterproof and tear proof paper. We will also create a giant bookmark banner for your reading area or library.

  • The Termly Prize: Not only will the winning design receive a set of 50 printed bookmarks and a giant bookmark banner, it will also win a £50 book voucher to spend on books for the school library and a £20 book voucher for the child!

Terms & Conditions

By submitting the entry form, as well as the artwork, you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions:

  1. This competition is open to schools in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland only.

  2. Entries from the same school, received separately, will be grouped together for judging.

  3. There will be one school winner and one overall termly winner.

  4. The judges decision is final.

  5. The closing date for each term’s competition will be 5pm on the last Friday of term (using Birmingham LA term dates), entries received after the closing date will be entered into the following term’s competition.

  6. You must own the copyright to the artwork submitted.

  7. We have the right to use images and photography of any designs received in our marketing materials (no personal details will be shared).

  8. We reserve the right to change the prizes offered at any time.

  9. We reserve the right to cancel this promotion at any time.
